The Game from 5/3/04
White Black
01) Pawn to Queen four 01) Knight to Queen's Bishop three
02) Pawn to Queen's Bishop three 02) Pawn to Queen four
03) Queen to Queen's Rook four 03) Bishop to Queen two

I don't normally open with such an agressive attack, but the mood took me in this game.

This opening resulted in a small flurry of blood letting.

04) Pawn to King's Knight three 04) Knight to King's Bishop three
05) Bishop to King's Rook three 05) Knight takes Pawn at Queen five
06) Queen takes Knight at Queen four 06) Bishop to Queen's Knight four
07) Pawn to Queen's Knight four 07) Pawn to King three
08) Knight to King's Rook three 08) Pawn to Queen's Bishop four
09) Pawn takes Pawn at King's Bishop five 09) Bishop to Queen's Bishop three

The result of the blood letting left me in this very nice commanding position.

10) Knight to King's Bishop three 10) Queen to Queen's Rook four
11) Bishop to King's Knight two 11) Bishop takes Pawn at Queen's Bishop four

The move by the Bishop caught me unawares. I hadn't registerd the square was now protected by the Queen. This put me into a defensive mode, where I lost my early advantage.

12) Queen to King five 12) Bishop takes Knight at Queen's Rook six
13) Bishop takes Bishop at Queen's Rook three 13) Queen takes Bishop at Queen's Rook six

It was at this point, where the Black Queen had been moved to a less advantageous poistion, that I saw a way I could go back on the attack. It'd mean sacrificing a Bishop, but it seemed worth it.

14) Bishop takes Pawn at King six 14) Pawn takes Bishop at King three
15) Queen takes Pawn at King six - CHECK 15) King to Queen one
16) CASTLE - King's side 16) Rook to King one
17) Queen to King's Bishop seven 17) Queen takes Pawn at Queen's Bishop six

Having sacrificed my Bishop I was now in a position to do some clean up work from the rear with my Queen, and bring my Rooks into the main game.

19) Queen takes Pawn at King's Knight seven 19) King to Queen's Bishop one
